My photographs originate from my delight in discovering the sublime within the ordinary.  Whether it be timing, viewpoint or lighting sometimes the ordinary can become extraordinary.  These are the special moments that I treasure and occasionally succeed in capturing.

One theme that continues to motivate my efforts is the influence of man’s hand on the contemporary landscape.  I have been fascinated with the evidence of man’s linear thinking contrasted with the beauty of the complex natural order.  While man has had many negative impacts on the earth, I like to temper my concerns with a sense of humor and an appreciation of our wonderful world.
